Hi Marry: Just to update you, I went to Soc Sec and discussed your case. I
did not apply at this time to be your rep payee so you will continue to receive
your checks. After the final hearing, depending on the courts ruling, I may have
to become the rep payee on your behalf. Based on the information that you
provided, it does not look at this time that you are entitled to an increase in
benefits. For now, the payment will remain at $465.34. This is based on
assistance that you said you received that totaled approximately $252.00 per
month. As for the food stamp application, it was processed by Soc Sec. All
information was sent to the Dept of Children and Families. Please advise if you
received a benefits card from DCF. If not, we will have to follow up with DCF
for the status of your application. As to the foreclosure, I will await the
results of the final hearing in the guardianship before negotiations with the
foreclosure attorney. The judges ruling in the guardianship will have a direct
impact on how these negotiations proceed. I hope all is well with you and I will
be in touch with any developments.
Sincerely,
